Gel Polish Course

Gel polish has increased in demand due to its ability to stay on for a much longer time than ordinary nail varnish in fact 86% of beauty salons and nail bars had gel polish on their price list by 2017.

Despite gel polish being available for well over 10 years a surprising number of clients still haven’t tried it, it is a great way to upgrade your standard nail service and once your clients do try gel polish, they don’t tend to go back to regular nail polish.

There is a growing number of gel polish brands and a fabulous diversity of colours, glitters, colour changing and even magnetic polishes.

You can be really creative and the best thing is that your clients can walk straight out of the door knowing that they are not going to smudge their nails.

The theory section includes knowledge on the products and equipment needed for a gel polish application, client advice, timing, cost, brands and more.

The practical includes how to set up and prepare the nails, how to apply gel polish, gel polish French painting techniques, gel polish removal techniques, using different finishes such as magnetic polish, glitters, marbling and gel polish treatment on the toes (optional).

Course Duration 6 hours (1 day)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on booking, the remaining balance must be paid on the day.
