Hot Stone Massage

Prerequisite – You must already have a body massage qualification to attend this course.

The benefits of massage are widely known, and it is one of the oldest methods of healing known to mankind. Adding heat gives the massage additional power to release tension deeper in the muscles and has a calming effect on the nervous system, often easing pain and improving anxiety and insomnia.

As well as the additional benefits to the client, carrying out a hot stone massage is also easier on you, the therapist. The stones’ contact with the skin and the heat take the effects of the massage deeper into the tissues, resulting in reduced stress on the therapist’s hands and wrists.

This day course will teach you the theory behind how this treatment works, about the stones, and all the skills you need to safely carry out a hot stone body massage.

Course Duration - 6 hours’ in-house training (1 day)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, the remaining balance can be paid on the day.
